Effective date: October 26, 2026
Allison M. McLeod, LL.M., CPA, A PLLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates this website. This policy explains how information is handled when you visit the site or contact us.
Information you provide
Our contact form asks for your first name, email address, and message. You may also provide a phone number. We use this information to respond to your inquiry and communicate about the services you request. Please do not submit confidential case materials through the website form until we have agreed on an appropriate way to receive them.
Information collected when you visit
Our hosting provider and website software may process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information, pages requested, and access times to deliver the site, maintain security, and troubleshoot errors. The site does not currently use Google Analytics or advertising trackers.
Cookies and outside services
CookieYes stores your cookie choices and provides the consent controls shown on this site. You can revisit your choices using the cookie settings control on the website. The contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA to help prevent spam and abuse. Google may receive technical information and set or read cookies as part of that service. The site also loads Libre Baskerville from Google Fonts; your browser may connect to Google when it requests that font. For more information about Google’s handling of data, see Google’s Privacy Policy.
We use essential cookies needed for site operation and the consent tool. The cookie categories and specific cookies in the CookieYes preference center should be consulted for the current list. If additional analytics or advertising services are added later, we will update this policy and the consent configuration.
How information is shared and retained
Contact submissions may be processed by our website host, contact form software, email provider, and service providers that help us operate and secure the site. We do not sell information submitted through the contact form. Contact form submissions, including associated IP address and form metadata, are retained in the website for 30 days and then deleted. Copies sent to our email inbox may be retained as needed to respond to your inquiry and maintain appropriate business records.
Your choices
You may use the CookieYes settings control to review or change optional cookie choices. You may also contact us to ask about personal information you submitted, request a correction or deletion, or raise a privacy question. We will consider requests in light of applicable requirements and legitimate recordkeeping needs.
Security and external links
We use reasonable measures to protect information submitted to the site, but no internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. This website may link to other sites whose privacy practices we do not control.
Updates and contact
We may update this policy as the site or its services change. The effective date above will be revised when changes are made. For privacy questions or requests, please use our contact page or call 214-403-8622.
